Charlize Theron manages to steal the spotlight on camera and on the red carpet; celebrity makeup artist, Sheri Stroh, provides all the steps you need to look like a pale pretty princess just like Charlize!

If you’re tired of the golden sun-sunkissed looks of the summer, then it’s time to put away your bronzer and give pale skin a try. Charlize Theron’s pale, flawless skin looks healthy and ethereal, and totally glam when paired with classic red lips. Leave tanned skin behind and follow these steps to pale perfection:

Step One

When wearing brightly colored lips, the rest of the face needs to be flawless, so concealer and foundation are a must. Apply only where you need it; you want skin to be even toned, but remember, keep it sheer. Use a light dusting of powder to banish any shine.

Step Two

Use a metallic copper shadow on upper lids only, sweeping color from the lash line up to the crease. Lightly rim the lower lash line with the same shade. Top it off with two coats of black mascara.

Step Three

For lips this bright, try Stroh’s technique: apply color straight from the tube to your lips, then press the color in with your fingers. This will stain the lips and you won’t have to worry about getting lipstick everywhere. Repeat this technique a few times to ensure that the color will last. For a bit of shine, add a tiny bit of clear gloss to the center of the lip only - applying gloss all over the lips may cause the color to spread.

Step Four

With a fluffy blush brush, sweep a light peach toned blush on the apples of your cheeks.
