Trends From the 2007 Emmy Awards

Loads of fashionistas out there take their cues from red carpet events and take note of what the celebs are wearing. This year’s Emmys had some definite trends; read on to see what was a hit on the red carpet.

Red was the dominant color of the evening with several celebrities sporting glamorous red gowns. Stacy London wore a short, draped red dress, while Kate Walsh walked paraded down the red carpet in a red Pamela Denis gown. Gathered or sleek, short or long, red dresses were the look du jour.

Another big trend was floaty fabrics and draped details. These grecian inspired elements were fairly restrained adding elements of interest to gowns without overwhelming them.
