Dita Von Teese Works The Houndstooth Trend

Fall fashions are always about crisp tailoring and textured fabrics and this year is no exception. Houndstooth prints could be found all over the runways at Fashion Week, and celebrities were quick to jump on the bandwagon.

While a bold print like this black and white houndstooth usually looks great in smaller doses, I think that Dita Von Teese really pulled off this printed dress.

Timid fashion lovers should try easing into patterns by adding a printed scarf or hat to add interest to their outfits without being overwhelming.

Ever since meeting her at Fashion Cares in Toronto last May, I have been in love with Dita’s style - she adheres to her homage to pin up glamour and she never less than 100% pulled together.

So, houndstooth? Love it or hate it?
