Gossip Girl is the newest teen drama to grace the small screen and while the angsty plot lines and ego driven characters are sure to satisfy your craving for cheesy t.v, the real lure of this show, for me, is the clothes.
The outrageously expensive wardrobes of these fictional New York prep school kids are obviously out of the reach of run of the mill teens, but this show provides a lot of fashion inspiration. Innovative styling and fashion forward combos make Gossip Girl a great start for young aspiring fashionistas who want to learn how to mix and match pieces in interesting ways. Even if you don’t have the green to afford the designer duds featured in the show you can always find a more affordable option at trendy stores like H&M, Mango, and Zara. In fact, the expensive items on the show are intermixed with cheaper finds. Gossip Girl commits to its obvious devotion to fashion by providing fans with a Gossip Girl store so that they can purchase items right off the Gossip Girl’s backs. Comments1 Comment so far |
