Jennifer Love Hewitt has been attracting a lot of bad attention lately after pictures of her in a bikini surfaced on the internet. The newly engaged celeb spoke out against those who judged her.
Online gossip sites have had a field day when the pictures first appeared making not so nice comments about the star’s body.
Jennifer has spoken out since about Hollywood’s obsession with thin and how a healthy body image should be more important than trying to fit into Tinsel Towns idea of beauty.
In response to all the controversy, Hewitt posted this on her website:
What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body.
To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini -put it on and stay strong.
She also hasn’t let it hinder her romantic time off with her new fiance, Ross McCall. The couple are vacationing in Hawaii while her show, the Ghost Whisperer, is on hiatus due to the writer’s strike.
So, tell me what you think – has Hollywood’s obsession with being thin gone too far? And do you support JLH’s body loving message?
