At a party for Karl Lagerfeld in London, Emma Watson showed up in head to toe Chanel. The look was extremely ladylike and was a mature choice for such a young star.
The seventeen year old Watson has admitted that she absolutely adores Chanel - and this outfit is obviously a tribute to that venerable fashion house. While the outfit is chic and elegant, I wonder if it’s a bit too fussy and mature for such a fresh young face. Pair it with those deep crimson lips and you have a grown up look that is way beyond her years.
I applaud Emma for dressing up in outfits that aren’t exposing navels or other naughty bits a la Britney, Lindsay and Paris, but she might want to save the restrained, and uber ladylike garb for later decades. It is a bit too matchy matchy for me - too lady’s who lunch. Comments2 Comments so far |
